Biography

Elena Grigorieva completed both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s Degree in Physics (with a specialization in computer programming) and an additional Bachelor’s Degree in Law in Russia. Elena started her legal career from 1996 being a Chief Financial Director of Russian largest fishing company specializing in International Law.

Elena moved to Canada in 2001 and started her own company where she gained hands-on Landlord and Tenant Law experience in dealing with her ground-floor commercial tenancy and above ground residential tenancy matters at the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal (from 2006 now known as the Landlord and Tenant Board).

Elena completed her paralegal studies at Canadian Business College and became a licenced paralegal in 2015.

In 2016, Elena created eDoc.Express management software for use in legal practices. This self-created, proprietary software has been the backbone of her private legal practice.

Elena has considerable experience in Small Claims Court and Landlord Tenant Board matters.

Elena’s legal motto has been ”First Measure – Then Protect”. This comes from her strong belief in acting as a legal shield stemming from a thorough understanding of legal procedure pertaining to her area of legal practice while she has always remained in good standing.

Elena offers Paralegal services in both English and Russian.
