The situation

An insurance company asked Precision Paralegal Services to recover a loss from an auto collision business known by its trade name.

Our approach

We sent a demand, then ran a corporate search to confirm the legal company behind the trade name before issuing and serving the claim.

Within weeks of service, the business paid the balance in two instalments.

We prepared and filed a request for a clerk’s order on consent to close the court file.

The balance was paid in full shortly after service, and the court file was closed on consent.
