Demand Letter and Claim Lead to Full Recovery by Consent

A demand letter and served claim led to an agreed payment schedule, formalized by consent, with the insurer’s claim ultimately paid in full.

The situation

An insurance company asked Precision Paralegal Services to recover a loss from a corporate debtor.

Our approach

We first sent a formal demand letter, then ran a corporate search to confirm the debtor’s legal status before filing and serving a claim.

The parties agreed on a payment arrangement. We prepared and filed a Request for Clerk’s Order on Consent to formalize the agreed terms.

The full amount was ultimately paid according to the agreed schedule, resolving the claim without a contested trial.

The outcome

The claim was recovered in full through a consent payment arrangement.

What this case illustrates

A filed claim can still lead to a cooperative resolution. In this matter, a workable payment schedule and formal consent terms provided a route to full recovery without a contested trial.
