About Brent
Brent Nyznyk is the Chief Technology Officer of Precision Paralegal Services, where he leads the firm's technology strategy, digital transformation, and development of systems that support the delivery of legal services at scale.
Brent joined Precision Paralegal in 2014 and has played a key role in the firm's growth and evolution into one of Canada's largest paralegal firms. He has focused on using technology, automation, data, and streamlined business processes to help Precision efficiently manage large volumes of matters while maintaining a high level of service for its clients.
His background combines technology leadership with extensive experience in legal recovery and business operations. Prior to joining Precision, Brent served as Chief Technology Officer for Fidelity National Financial Canada, one of Canada's largest title insurance and mortgage processing organizations. That experience gave him a strong foundation in building secure, scalable technology and operational platforms for high-volume, regulated environments.
Earlier in his career, Brent worked with Anderson Sinclair LLP, a national legal recovery firm, where he led a team responsible for recovering more than $100 million on behalf of major Canadian financial institutions and telecommunications companies. This experience gave him an in-depth understanding of legal recovery, judgment enforcement, and the operational requirements involved in managing legal matters nationally.
At Precision, Brent continues to focus on modernizing how legal services are delivered. His work includes technology architecture, systems integration, process automation, artificial intelligence, data and reporting, cybersecurity, and the development of internal platforms that allow the firm's legal and administrative teams to operate more effectively across multiple provinces.
Based in Calgary, Brent also contributes to Precision's national strategy and continued expansion across Canada, bringing together his experience in technology, legal operations, and business growth.
Brent graduated with Distinction from the Paralegal Diploma program at Cestar College in 2022. He took the program to better understand the work Precision does every day and believes that, to lead technology well, you need to understand the business you're building it for.
